After a long and hard trail of the ED open cup Rasta® have finally been knocked out. AV played well although they had two laggers i dont think it affected the outcome of the match.
Rasta® have had a hard time getting to grips with de_train but i hope that in the near future we can get to grips with it.
We are now focusing on getting out player for lan and also working hard on training for it.
If i am correct we still have one game to play for third place against Monster Gaming. We look forward to this game and we hope to play well and have a good game.
I am happy to say that i am not dissapointed with the team or the outcome of our recent game simply because it was the semi finals and if the game was not a challenging one it would have felt wrong to be in the finals given some of the teams that had entered the cup.

Just a quickie! Ooooooh Yeah!!!
This guy joined our game mid game and thought it was funny to TW and attempt TK. He was trying to impersonate KayJay a former Rasta member who says he knew nothing about it but turns out its one of his team mates so he probably does. Name and Shame here we come:

After yesterdays incident both parties have decided it's best if we moved on keeping our great friendship intact.
Our 3 years here have been great and we would like to thank Damage, Arky and Blanks for letting us in and also everything they have done for us in those years.

Can all members check their log ins!!! Should you find you get an error you must go to #EDAdmins in IRC and ask them to fix it. DO NOT REQUEST PASSWORD OR TRY TO SORT IT YOURSEFL!
Secondly once you have done that please can you all check and make sure you are signed up to your relevant teams! Rasta. and #Rasta are the main 2 as a few issues over at ED have meant there was an issue with their database. Not gone well for em but easily remedied ;)

On a second note. Rasta. and #Rasta have been swapped in EDCSSL and the Challenge Cup. Rasta. are now in Div1 so go check your match planner plus #Rasta now play Auxilia in the Challenge Cup!! GL LADS!!!

Could we raise £2k?

Thats the question i want to put to you. Its been a fair old while now since we bought our server outright and it was all down to everyone chipping in. We managed to pool together around £1.5k to purchase the equipment we needed. The question im asking in light of Blanks recent info to me and also the possible opportunities we have with another company. Could we raise £2k??? The reason i ask this is simple. With that money we would be able to buy essentially a Big Brother and Big Sister to the war server. Both of which would have 8 Cores, 8 Gig of RAM and the necessary other bits to crank out very high end performance. This itself might be a bit overkill but would mean we can transfer the current war servers onto a newly updated box (much better than the one its on). We could then open up a second high quaity War Box to support any new Rasta teams as well as support the community. Finally we would be able to move the publics off their old box bless them onto the current war server...

Rasta. look for cup glory!

With the EAS coming into the final weeks and with the ESL FA cup also kickign off this week its busy days for the lads at rasta.
We kick off this busy week with our ESL EAS game on monday vs Snipers Alley, this is a great chance for us to go level on points with MTG or GLG as they play each other this week. If we are to beat SA, our last two games of the season are against MTG and GLG so we could still top the table.
Our second game fo the week is in ED, we applied to get in EDCSSL but have been not been chosen and just to prove the type of pleb system ED admins use our first week game in the challenge cup is against the one and only Auxilia lol! have ED ever heard of seedings -_-
Then we play amders on the 14th, in the Second round of the ESL Fa Cup style cup, so its a busy week with some top games we look forward to playing some good teams :)

Rasta and Rasta^ news.

Time for a little update from my little corner of the world.
Yesterday I found out that Kirby had left Rasta|| due to it being a slow start finding a 5th. Luckily Sure, Steve and Moony all stuck around (proving Moony's point that no one would leave if Kirby left. LOL DANNY!) about 30 seconds after finding out Kirby had left, I also found out that 3 of Rasta^s players had left, leaving just Az and Wil. This got my super computer of a brain ticking and picked them up making the new Rasta|| line up this:

The core 5 are attending i39 and are all booked and paid plus it looks like I will either be playing HoN or joining Rasta(r) as their 5th to control Mosquii's hacking.
All in all, the death of 1 team, but the combined forces of 2 sick teams (and me) to make a machine that will DESTROY Rasta| next week.
To clear the air, there are no hard feelings between any of Rasta|| and Kirby...Yes he is a dick, but we knew this befor...

I would like to let the rest of You Rasta Peeeeeps that on Monday Rasta| will be taking on the old school Rasta|| in the mcl league on Nuke. This will take place at 9pm and would be nice to have a bit of a crowd to watch us take on one another and see who comes up on top.
The Banter has already started and will do so until the match has finished i am sure of it.

TS3 Down Temporarily

Hey Guys,
As im sure your all aware TeamSpeak is down temporarily :D Its all good. You may have noticed some significant updates yesterday which improved the quality immensely. Expect more of these today while it updates again and service will be resumed as normal. In the meantime please use Vent as she is still there as good backup.
Been a good transition over so far <3
