Rasta. and Mercy go Massive in Manchester!
This gone Sunday Rasta. Were set loose on Manchester, with a little help from my good Mercy. The day started good, the sun was shining, fury was awake (just) and actually in Manchester (just) and we all met at the train station at 10:30
Crimson was sporting a new T Shirt he had purchased the night before with the slogan “ I Don’t like Chicken” just to make sure we didn’t feed him any more of his favourite snack. We made the logn journey to the gamerbase (about 10 Minute walk but if you listened to foolio it was about a 4 hour trek)
Once we arrived at our destination, Fury had dispatched a pack of cigs and foolio had shed 2 stone, but we met up with some old friends adzi D, cleric, wkn, the dignitas boys and had a good cin wag while we waited for the HMV to open. Once inside we found our sits, we were lucky the admins had a clue, gave us a nice bench to ourselves instead of a dreadful round table also we were lucky enuf to be seeded away from the dig guys.
First game
Rasta. Vs MIXSTO
First game was agasint the team predicted to finish 3rd by cadred, we knew it would be a tough game and it was on the sandy shores of Dust2, things didn’t start well as we lost the knives but they were very nice to let us start as the attacking T side. The match started and things went really well instantly winning the pistol and the 2 eco rounds we soon went into a commanding 7-0 lead, we then lost a buy round but quickly rectified this with some strong fragging from crimson at the B bombsite and to take the half 10 – 2.
We then won the match out right by winning the CT pistol and the next two buy rounds to take a comfortable 13 – 2 win

Second game
Rasta. Vs Ondskan X
Second game was against Ondskan on de_inferno, this game started much better with us actually winning a knife round! This made Mercy very happy, and the grin never left his face! The game started really well, winning the pistol and going into a commanding 4 – 0 lead, Mercy was loving life on 6 – 0 with fury stealing his defuses! The game was following an alarming trend, Ondskan pushed Rasta mowed them down, although the second from last round it went down to a tight 2v2. With the bomb ticking away on the B bombsite and both Ondskan players in the pit, Mercy unleashed his mighty awp skills with a mighty fine flick shot to take off the top of subaru’s head off to which the rage flowed from the Ondskan player, with myself completing the clutch Rasta. Registered a 12-0 half time lead.
The t half was very brief, with fury opening up the A bombsite with some neat deagle work we soon had ourself the 1 round we required to take a 13 – 0 Victory

Upper Bracket Final
Rasta. Vs Dignitas
This was a grudge Match that we had been expecting, with the map to be de_nuke we quickly told mercy he needed to be good as we sucked on nuke, he said ok and promptly sucked on the T side. The less said about our T side the better, no one really wanted to play nuke, and it showed playing with a merc is difficult on this map, and with a tight pistol round going the way of Dignitas we knew it be even harder!
Credit to Dignitas, they had an excellent CT set up we couldn’t quite get our heads around, although we planted the bomb on most rounds we just couldn’t cope with the aggressive fast retakes. With nothing left to lose we rushed upper, with Mercy getting a nice entry frag and crimson doing his usally shoot faces ting we took the round, from then on foolio was vocal, mainly due to the fact he was sober and had a boner! We took the last round with another fine upper rush, with everyone grabbing a frag to make the half time score 10 – 2
This meant we needed the most UBER os uber CT sides, the pistol was important, super important, and Dignitas soon launched into there strat. Luckly for us, it wasn’t very good with foolio guessing it 20 seconds before that they was going to pile up crows, they promptly got naded and it took it down to a 3 v 2 in our favour. With fury being the beast he was he soon killed the bomb carrier and the pistol was ours.
From then on, Dignitas just couldn’t cope with us, Crimson was on fire with some excellent clutch work, with 2 fine 24 hp clutches we knew we had this in the bag. Mercy soon realised he enjoyed CT nuke, and unlashed some great rotation calls and some fantastic upper rush spray downs to keep Dig at bay. With the score finely balanced at 12 – 11 to us it came down to a 3 v 2 in favour of dig, but with foolio getting jiggy on lower bombsite and myself holding ramp we soon shut them down taking the match and knowing we need only one map in the final

Grand Final
Rasta. Vs Mixsto
The map was again de_inferno, and again we won a knives round, this started us on CT, we took the pistol and went 2 – 0 up but some fine deagling from nitman gave MIXSTO the round they needed and they soon brought it back to 2 – 2, they took the first major buy round, this lead to us calling a B stack, and thank god Adzi D walked straight into quad with the bomb and foolio shut him down, Fury did the rest with some sick deagling and we took an important round. The rest of the half we just went ape shit on them, Crimson was a beast on quad, as he was all tournament and he deserves his MVP nomination, and they couldn’t get a look in.
T side we started passively but lost the pistol, with the score at 9 – 6 we knew we only needed to trade rounds, and this is what happened with the score at 5 – 1 a quick eco push A lead to us getting two early entry frags, and then 2 rotate frags and a quick rotate to B mercy clutched the round with some fine deagling and game sense, we knew we only needed two more rounds to the win, and attacking B bombsite soon paid ff with us taking the match 13 – 9 and the half 6 – 4

It was great fun, seeing everyone again, and Mercy fitted in really well and we are really glad he came in and played so sick for us, we are looking forward to the Finals on the 30th but for now we are very happy with our minimum £250, we are looking forward to pwnign some heads and having some beers!

It was more how high pitched your voice went as you said it though was sweet :p Basically what happened was the sound card was faulty or something, and it was fine then it cut out, it happened in the game before this.
