Rasta War Servers and Rasta DeathMatch
Hi Guys its update time!
Most of you are fully aware that we have been having some major issues with all of our servers (public and match). This problem has lasted for quite a long time now and is unfortunately just another in a string of issues we have had. INX are currently working on the situation and are trying everything in their power to rectify the issue but i am sad to say we cannot wait any longer for the lag spikes to stop.
This brings me to the main point of this post. Im sure you have all already guessed who will be hosting our new match servers from the post before but i would like to announce today Rasta Gamings new full affiliation with Multiplay ( Multiplay Game Servers and Multiplay General ). We are moving all of our match servers from INX over to Multiplay yesterday/today so all the old match servers have been taken offline. We have 4 of the new 2000fps Multiplay Match Servers based in the UK and 4 based in the Netherlands. These are all already available to use and it will be first come first serve with regards to who has what in which location although priority will be given based on your teams predominant global positioning. So either message myself or Blanks to get your teams sparkly new 2000 fps match server and lets all be content we are using the best servers ive experienced to date before anyone else! Should we need more please just contact myself or Blanks and it will be arranged :)
With regards to the CoD4 guys you havent been forgotten. On monday when we are all back in the office you will notice that 2 new match servers and 1 new public will become available to you once again down to Multiplays new involvement with Rasta. Chris ill keep you posted. Congratulations also last night on a sterling cup. Morg had some very kind words to say about how well run it was and what a good idea you had so well done llads. Doing us proud!
Moving on to the DeathMatch server. Currently that is going to stay with INX as we dont want to kill it off by moving its IP. Whether we move the DM is going to come down to whether the lag remains. Lets hope INX gets her fixed and we dont have to move to our backup.
Finally the site will be getting some updates with a few of the graphics to take into consideration the changes. Should get to see some sexy looking graphics going up but not sure when they will be done so just watch this space as it will be sooner rather than later.
That pretty much sums it all up :D Big thanks to Multiplaygameservers.com and Multiplay as a whole for all the help and speed with this. Rob you have been wonderful as always and the servers are un fecking believable! Oh i just thought... there is one more thing!
With regards to the Multiplay match servers Rasta Gaming are one of a selected few organisations that will be able to offer a 10% discount to all the newly coded CS:S and TF2 Match Servers! We have our very own exclusive code and it is already live and working. Should you pursuade someone to pick up one of the new Multiplay Match servers just give me a shout and ill send you over the 10% coupon. These new servers are going to sell themselves but with our help we should be able to really push these servers out to the players that need them. On the flipside the more help we give Multiplay the stronger our affiliation will be and i know how appreciative Multiplay will be (because i work there :). So lets get these servers out to as many people as we can and really show Multiplay why picking us was a good decision.
Epic post i know so ill cut it short there. This is a big step for us and one of many that are coming this year. You lads make this possible so lets show everybody what we got :D
