Rasta-Gaming enters the CoD4 Scene Deagles A'Bl...
'Proud' is not a word I flaunt around, but I am extremely proud to welcome our two new teams, the reinvigerated Rasta! and the brand spanking new Rasta.fRZ.
Firstly, Rasta.fRZ are our new online k33n squad that are soon to be a new addition to the cod4.academy. The Lineup is:
dozzy
mlz
chronic
seers
chiphead
mIZ has commented; " After weeks of trialing various people I'm extremely happy to have finally completed the Rasta.fZ lineup. I'd like to give a big thanks to dozzy for helping me throughout and to baron for the opportunity to play under the rasta tag. We'll be trying our hardest to improve through playing various cups and participating in leagues such as esl and eas. "
I wish them the best of luck!
For our second team, it has been three grueling months for me to find a team fit to represent Rasta at LANs and in the extensive CoD4 community. I am very confident that Rasta! will be the next sliced bread of CoD4. The lineup is;
Chris 'baroN.uK' Flynn- Manager/AK
Stu 'Revels' Goodenough- Team Captain/Smg
Steve 'zex_Xy' Pringle- Scope
Nathan 'Centypoo' Collins- AK
Erik 'Legacy' Ruijs- Smg
Steve 'Steveee' Kreithaner- Reserve/Smg
Pete 'Firebird' Overmeyer- Reserve/Smg
So far we are entering into many tournements and leagues. We are currently settling into clanbase and ESL, with the occasional tournement that pops up. Also, we have had news that we have a place at an invite only LAN later in the year, along with top CoD4 teams.
Not only have we been playing tournements, but in fact last night saw the launch of the Rasta! Gaming One Night Cup. It featured 16 teams, including two mix teams with players from Dignitas and Reason having a good time along side us. nye vent won the first ever cup against STEAK SLICE, winning 25-10, in an intense game spectated by over 70 people. Not a bad word was said against the cup, and I would like to thank mIZ and my team for their last minute efforts in advertising and managing the fantastic event. We are all looking forward to next Friday's cup, which I am hoping will easily fill the 32 team slots available. More thanks to R-Design for offering to design the tournement website.
It was a joy to see a Tek-9 member state; "Nice to see a good CSS community taking interest in COD:)". Perhaps this will see a nw era for Rasta-Gaming, aswell as Call of Duty 4.
Happy Fragging,
baroN.uK
