I40 Thermaltake Online Qualifiers!
YEAH IVE ANNOUNCED THE SHIZZLE hahahahahaha!!!!
Here is what i wrote for Cadred:
"Multiplay Announce Thermaltake CSS Online Qualifiers!
We are pleased to announce today that there will be an online qualification for Multiplays Insomnia40 Event (27th August - 30th August). These online qualifications will be held from the 8th July through until the 22nd July. The qualifiers will be a straight double elimination tournament consisting of 64 teams, 16 of which are invite. The invite teams have a guaranteed place in the tournament, as for the other 48 places these will be issued on a first come first serve bases.
The structure as stated is double elimination with 2 rounds played each Thursday for 3 weeks starting on the 8th July and ending on the 22nd. We have specifically chosen these days/times so as not to clash with the World Cup Football. All matches will be played on the new Multiplay 2000FPS Match Servers, based in the UK and the Netherlands. For more server specifications head over to www.multiplaygameservers.com.

The Prizes:

Signups are open Wednesday 9th June until Wednesday 30th June. Head to : http://iseries.multiplay.co.uk/ - Simply use your Multiplay Login and sign your team up as you would to a normal iSeries event. The only difference is you dont need to pay and you select "Online Qualifier" tournament!!! There is a maximum of 48 open signups available.

Surely it will have a monumental fuck up to the seeds? do they get top 4 seed postitions? if so what happens if some the top uk teams (power/toxic) don't play in the online comp will they only be seeded 5th or 6th at the lan? Also if you decide to do the seeds normally so the 4 teams who qualifed wil get a seed from any where in the top 16/32 say, this will cock the groups up? Just curious would be nice to get some info | |||
