Sooooooooo, lets skip the first few days of what can only be described as both frustrating and painful as so called friend and team mate Adam “FurY^” McVicar either died a horrible death or decided to LAN dodge, either way this left us with a massive problem that we need 5 Pokémon to commence the battle!
So with this in mind I quickly went about with destroying blanks’ mix team by adding the machine that we call P-Gunna to his line up so we could steal the machine that is rcK (rick as he also likes to be known as).
So with this problem done with and the LAN problems dealt with we started 10AM Saturday with the group stages and this is where things got interesting. We were seeded 10th which we felt was achievable but would be a struggle with rick literally reading the strats as we were executing them so things were a little messy.
We were put in a group with 22nd seeds evase along with Monkey Mafia, BLOOD-Gaming, DOG 1st team and the fellowship.
Rasta. 15 – 15 evase
As stated it was messy, and messy it was, we started T side on de_dust2 against the top seed, it was early foolio was still waking up and serp’s implants just don’t work before 12 so we didn’t get the best of starts. With the score at 5-0 to evase we had a server crash so we had to restart with 5K and suicide the last 5 rounds to adjust the score.
With this in hand serp took it upon himself to go into “Manual” mode and actually frag something and things started to improve with us bring it back to 8-7 to evase.
2nd half and things started badly with us falling behind again after losing ANOTHER pistol round, this time we got an eco in there but things went from bad to worse and we eventually found ourselves 15 – 10 down, this was the turning point in what was already being described as some a LAN crumble, BUT with great resolve we managed to clamp it down, win some super clutches with King, Myself and serp all making some big clutches we pulled it around to draw the game.
This meant we needed to at least hammer every team in the group and the following scores will show you just how we did that
Rasta. 19 – 11 Monkey Mafia
Rasta. 28 – 2 DOG
Rasta. 30 – 0 BLOOD
Rasta. 24 – 6 fellowship
Double Elim
Topping the group gave us the 10th seed in the elimination which meant we started off with an “easier” game which for us was a de_dust2 fixture against instincts. Now on paper we should “walk it” but instincts are much better than people give them credit for.
Rasta. 16 – 6 Instincts
After winning knives we decided to start CT, which was a strange strange start with instincts taking pistol us ecoing them then them ecoing us which made money all skewed which lead to instincts rushing into an 5 – 3 lead, then with an inspiring “BRING GUNS” call from the inspirational rcK we started to roll the rounds off taking the half 9 – 6 with some great work from everyone
2nd half started as the first ended with rasta pulling the strings with rck, king and serp dominating middle and just making the game a stroll in the park, we raced into a 6 -0 lead to take the game 16 – 7
Victory lead us to a 2nd round match against demonic.uk and the wise words of the great King crimson the first this tie had “CRUNCH TIME” all over it.
Rasta. 16 – 10 demonic.uk
The game started badly with us losing the knives and having to start the harder T side on de_inferno. With the pistol tactic working a treat (with a cheeky knife kill on gand) we raced into a 3-0 lead and this is where things would get tricky “exclamation mark, question mark”. Well so we thought but it turns out that serp has not only ninja skills in stealing ear plugs in the night but he can also use an AWP, and boy did he use an AWP. With the demonic players screaming “What the F” along with rcK on the A bombsite we stormed into an commanding 11 – 4 lead, with serp taking the plaudits and rightly so with what can only be described as a Master class in AWPing.
The 2nd half started well with rcK replacing fury excellently on A with a cracking one deag that can only be described as good as damage’s Gollum impression, with serp then taking another 3 frags and foolio’s cricket skills we took pistol and stormed into a 14 – 4 lead. Credit where credit is due demonic pulled back 6 rounds before we closed the game out with some great play but with foolio’s snoring awaiting us when we got back to the hotel we was just glad to get an early night!
Rasta. 5 – 16 Ox.Gaming
Things on Sunday morning did not start well, with a performance that can be best compared to “a broken cup” we managed a lowly four rounds with rcK forever asking “where is foolio’s eyes?” OX gaming then saw the game out without much of a problem even if crimson did keep telling me “ foolio’s got an autosniper” “Hollis tell him” it didn’t help as foolio sucks with all guns including the noob cannon!
Rasta. 16 – 5 Imperial
With the wise HudzG looking on (“srlsylsylsylsylyslsylsy?”) we played the might of Imperial. The map being d2 we started on ct and with the score finely poised on 3 – 3 some wise words from the great man lead us to fantastic 10 – 5 scoreline with some great ninja skills from king with foolio having to remind him they were only kids and not to hurt there feelings we really did cruise it.
2nd half was a formality with us taking the pistol with folio clutching 2 v1 with what can only be described as the “Best...Clutch......EVER?!?!” with foolio using all his luck as somehow the CT’s looked more like keystone coppers than an elite counter terrorist unit. With this awfully cringe worthy clutch accomplished we saw out the 6 rounds with imperial really struggling to contain the foolio snoring AK blazing Rasta.
Next up was crackclan in the lower bracket, with 7/8th confirmed we was dead chuffed with our performance so far.

With cries of “can you hear me” we eventually found out foolio couldn’t hear me “GOD DAM IT” but alas we fixed the problem shanked them and went CT. Then we proceeded to demonstrate just why we got this far, with some great frags, excellent teamwork and with only a few minor slip ups we sealed the half 12 – 3 knowing pistol would secure the match!
Alas that wasn’t to be as we got crushed on pistol, and the rounds kept disappearing with us only securing the one deco round leaving the score at 13 – 12 then we broke the deadlock got 2 rounds and secured the draw only for crackclan to strike back, with rcK nearly pulling off the impossible 6hp clutch which would of become the “BEST...CLUTCH.....EVER?!?!” but it wasn’t to be so the last round was all important, with some great picks on A serp opened up the map with this we took the site with some great frags from “no eyes” foolio we took the map and with that we secured 5/6th

So the journey had to end somewhere, but what a way to go with over 333 specs on srcTv and with at least 20 – 30 people behind us we took on the best the UK scene has including the mighty G team with hudzG and HenryG. Losing knife round meant we would be starting T side on de_nuke which against players this good was about as an exciting prospect as a “foolio water party in the bathroom”
We kicked off badly with demonic just crushing us on the pistol and taking the resulting eco rounds, which wasn’t good, but a few strong upper rushes and soon the score was 3 – 3 and then things got even better, with demonic struggling to hold back crimson and serp we started to trade round making it 6 -6 I think damage and Arky got so excited they forgot to breathe in the end we lost the half 9 – 6 not to shabby for a T side nuke.
Ct side started well with a brilliant pistol round we looked on course to tie it up at 9 – 9 which we did, the first buy round went the way of demonic but crimson then loaded his deagle with some headshot medicine and secured a great 4 man and we took the lead next round 11 – 10, demonic then showed there class taking it to 15 – 11 with it looking bleak we locked out a few pushes to make it 15 – 13 then it came down to a 1 v1 Holl1s v jakem. With the bomb ticking Holl1s took the frag and meant that demonic would be on a low buy going into the last round. With one last hurrah demonic hit the door and it worked with them taking 4 frags to our 3, despite rck’s best efforts the match was ended and the dream was over, but we did win some cash :D
So guys, great LAN excellent finish we rock and vote for serp as MVP :D

Basically aidan is the worst...human...ever?! showing his eating skills, drinking skills, snoring skills, t-shirt hole wearing skills, no eyes skills, pissing all over the bathroom floor skills, spitting in the shower skills, getting food all round his face skills, and ofc his GLOCK skills <3 Best lan ive ever been too, best banter and best...finish...ever?! All the other rasta teams did well, especially rasta.r who showed everyone what a strong team they are. Arky damage blanks n biggie were all sound as fuck and damage did the best gollum impression in the lift ive ever seen in my life, its like he was floating on air.
